I recorded some audio of an AM all-news radio station, and went through it to pick out the sounds of the announcers taking a breath before speaking. I have not done audio production in a long time, but I was not surprised at how long it took to put this together. This is a 3-second piece which took 3 hours to create, here repeated 10 times over for a 32-second passage of random radio announcers’ breathing.
It came out even weirder than I imagined. This is something I meant to do for a long time, and I will take another stab at this some time to make it smoother, and to add counterpoint.

Aha, hey, why not? I’ll send you the wav file in the morning. I have other plans for this 3-second piece myself, too, as in…counterpoint. Gouldian counterpoint. Oh yeah
