- To tell you the truth (which is a phrase I'm trying to kill off cos of the implications about that validity of anything I say that is not prefixed with it), I'm kinda (short for kindergarten. Yes, I'm Kindergarten. Or is it Garden? (or maybe it's short for kinder. As in (vindictivley) "I'm kinder than you!") wishing I was at home.
Only cos I've been told that my heart is there. Somewhere. Amongst the rubble and broken empty thought containers. Fragmented dreams where you turn up late for hell, only to discover that you are butt naked. There's candle wax dripping and drooping and covering everything within waxshot.
I live in a shed. Did I tell you that already? No. Well obviously. My shed has some beautiful synthetic grass as carpet. I lifted it up the other day to find my heart. But nothing. Nada. Not an atrium. So now I'm throwing empty meaningless words at you and hope that you don't hate me for it. Really.

- Deleting MSGolf so that my computer gets almost 3MB of memory back. I say almost 3MB because I kept the warped sound
effects. Looking for 'Sent' e-mails of mine to delete. Eating more anise cookies even though after reading today about teeth falling and tearing out in the dream section of sorabji.(music?) page, enamel chipped off the back part of a front tooth! Soft Machine has an all instrumental hypnotic piece titled: "Teeth" (They were the opening band for Hendrix here in New Orleans at City Park Stadium) It's a tribute (or take-off) to a book that William Burroughs wrote of the same name, Soft Machine. 'Man is only a soft machine' sing the Holy Modal Rounders. What's the last live music show that anyone has attended?

- Getting ready to hit the hay (how ya say) after enjoying a Chinese buffet event sponsored by Merril Lynch and I was a guest of one of the invited ones. There were four guest speakers. Mental.
It's amazing (not really) about the powers of nutrition. Whenever someone calls and I sound really bummed, this certain friend always responds. . ."when was the last time you ate anyghing?" and he's usually right. Simple things like eating and (even though when you feel like really low even a bath sounds difficult) taking a hot bath really have the power to change ones mood. Take a bath in St. Johns Wort. That's it. Must have a 7Up and spring water over ice. It is the utmost in thirst quenchers.
Sweet dreams.

- staring, slack-jawed, into the monitor, which provides the only light in this room. Suffering from the sinking feeling that I've entered a Kafkaesque world where I suddenly everything makes sense for once, the entire universe comes into crystal clear
focus like the ultimate Satori, lucid as all hell..................... and it's completely mundane and disappointing. Is this what the Unabomber experienced just before he moved to Montana? Is this what Andre Breton experienced just before he penned his manifesto? Is this what Salvador Dali experienced when he realized he was too divine for Andre Breton's 'Little Rascals'-esque club of schoolboys?
The room grows musky with incense and the smell of the hamburger I burnt at dinner.......I am overwhelmed suddenly with the desire to go out into the night completely naked, though I'm not sure why. Perhaps I'll drink more Amaretto and read Bataille until
I fall asleep instead.

- I'm thinking what a worthy thing it can be in this world, to take the time to listen to boring people, to nod at their complaints, and chuckle at their attempts at humor. Having just done that with some relations of mine.
Maybe we ought to set aside a national holiday just for that. Everyone who doesn't have such a relative would have to find someone, on the bus or in an institution or somewhere. And listen to them for at least an hour, and then would have to write a 10-
page paper on what they heard and send it to the person to prove they'd been listening. And you're not allowed to clear your throat excessively or look at your watch. But you are allowed to carry on about it afterward with your presumably fascinating friends.
