and I couldn't believe what celebrity whores I work with...."I just GOTTA shake Garth Brooks hand!!!" but he probably never even listens to him.

But of course I'm guilty of dropping names of B-list celebs myself so who am I to judge?

Noting that I did not post that url about the Confession published in the NYT, although I did read it, I must say. The frightening thing about the incident is that the perptrator of the fire's name was published in the paper. I know, I know, he was taking responsibility for his actions, but the repercussions of the posting may be long lasting, especially for the others around him. Did the NYT verify the identities? How did the paper find the correspondence? Is it legal or ethical to publish something like that? I highly doubt that this information, or that on mailing lists, is in the public domain. I hope that mailing lists, in the future, reserve the rights of the participants,.

For the record, this does not mean that I personally condone his actions---I am merely generalizing the ethincal issues to all participants in mailing lists.

Better than any alarm clock, which I tend to sleep through as often as not, this morning I awoke to the sounds of the cat throwing up a hairball. Damn, missed again. Only one foot to the south or to the west and he would have hit bare floor. But no, my cat has the rare instinctual ability to always manage to find a piece of rug to soil.

thanks for the advice Dani....I had some non-presciption medicine for the cats but it seemed to cause more hairballs than it prevented, so I haven't been using it lately.
