Product liability will be ok, it will just be a huge pain in my ass. Then we have to discuss how they've named their fields, which really torches my bonfire. You can't start every special damned field with date and then try to query on date...the engine will become confused. Damn it.

Sem, you mean you were surfing the web on our tax dollars? For shame! The *ahem* "outfit" I work for goes one step better... they pay a person $54K of your tax dollars every year to make sure we aren't surfing the web on your tax dollars. Go figure.
Nate is probably not a god, but he's a damned resourceful fisherman and that probably elevates him from the rest of us mortals.

i have a headache and maybe even a low grade fever, compounded by having one hell of a day here at the cancer research center.
i've been interviewing people for a study on exceptional survivors. people who beat the odds, who survived cancer despite having a very poor prognosis.
today i talked to a 50 year old local guy who survived stomach cancer. his was so bad that when he was diagnosed, his tumor was so large it had developed its own ulcer. when i asked him why he thought he survived cancer he said "well, i'm a surfer, and surfing is about as close as you can get to god. so i pray a lot while i'm surfing. and i do cocain."

Smith Sr. of Dedenhauser Germany, and his son, allegedly the David J. Smith who married a Catherine Roth who allegedly had one daughter, Mary E. Smith: end of sperm trail. My godmother tells me though that David J had seven children besides Mary (It is rumored she may have had a sister, but still no help to promulgate my existence). One of the seven children that David didn't have was supposedly my great grandfather Fred J., but he doesn't anywhere exist in New York close to the Seneca Rez. I did find him (Fred J. b. 4/17/89)in Carthage (Rush Co.) Indiana son of a Henry Smith, b. 1854, which may be coincidental because my grandfather's name was Lloyd Henry, and Lloyd is also a common name in that allegedly unrelated lineage. There's a gap, some adoptions, and an unknowing, unsettled feeling in the pit of my very Smith-esque stomache this morning, something akin to having your existence reduced to a 404 message or unterminated strings loose in your hard drive. besides, i'm not the only "god" who's been gettin' divine up in her "heaven", if ya catch muh meanin'.
that whole mess has (once again) given me more appreciation for the wonders of latex.
i'm writing a song in honor of "three dolla" Bill called "the homo-erotic psycho-sexual blues".
(he got the homo-erotic psychosexual blues, and if ya slammed with his jamma you would have them too!")
back in the summer of 1990, three dolla came out to me in a parking lot in maryland while i was raving and drooling all mad-scientist syle with a head full of acid and kaya on the brain. back then i was big into eastern philosphy and had just been introduced to quantum physics through an egghead friend of mine. the quantum validation tore the roof off my whole nataraja trip and had me bouncing off the top of parked cars raving about how "THE DICHOTOMY IS GONE, MAN!! SCIENCE IS CATCHIN' UP WITH SIVA, BABY!!! THIS IS IT! IT'S THE DAWN OF THE THIRD EYE!!! [BLAH BLAH BLAH, INSERT ACID-INDUCED PSYCHOTROPIC RAVING HERE]"
i was goofed on the whole idea and more than a little impressed with myself for connecting the dots.
at least until three dolla stole my fire:
"uh, yeah. i read about the whole quantum physics/eastern philosophy thing in the new york times last week."
so much for original thought.
"and by the way, i'm gay."
yeah. no shit, bill. why the hell do you think we call you "three dolla"?
i have yet to be surprised by anybody's declarations of homosexuality. i've always seen it coming miles away.
anyway, i'm rambling.
time to plug back into protools and finish the three dolla groove.
rest in peace, kid.
