leaning towards Gore. I am a registered voteer in one of the swing states. I really like Nader, but lately I've been lookng at Bush a lot closer. I really don't like what I see. I wanted to vote my hopes over my fears this time around, but damn. That guy seriously gives me the creeps. I think I will continue my policy of voting for the third party in smaller elections though.

Supportive of Sem's decision. In a swing state, it's a good idea to go for Gore. My state is "Strongly Bush" which is just appalling, but not surprising. Nader gets my vote.

I'm hungry and working.

Montana version of "Survivor"

Contestants must travel from Billings through Bozeman, Butte, Helena,
Great Falls and back to Billings through Grassrange and Roundup. They must be driving a Volvo with a bumper sticker that reads: "I'm gay. An abortion Doctor. And I'm here to take your guns." First one to make the round-trip safely
is the winner! Missoula may not be used as a safety point!

Going through photos.

I just got back the pics from my vacation, including something like five rolls from inside Carslbad Caverns. A lot of those were a crapshoot; I had to shoot without flash, because my little built in flash wouldn't throw enough light down there. The ones that came out are spectacular; I'm going to make some enlargements and frame a couple for my folks.

Went to the BT/Hooverphonics concert, was on "the list" and didn't have a guest.

So I went to the line and said "who wants to get in for free" and I was able to meet this very nice (and pretty, ooh!) girl who I got in. She bought me a drink and we talked the whole time Hooverphonics was playing, considering it's not really danceable music. Wow, funny, smart and pretty. Didn't ask about the tongue ring. I bought her a drink too.

I got her number and I gave her mine. She's a theatre major at a college about 90 miles away. I just graduated college and was stage manager recently at the Imago Theatre. I offered to take her there for the current production.

One thing... my ex-girlfriend of 3.5 years is in the current Imago production there and might cause some weirdness if I brought this new friend along.

What to do!

Feeling better physically though. I took a sick day yesterday and slept for most of the day. No one else is at work today, most have gone up to the conference already. The plan is for me and Steve the Gothic Archaeologist to head out tomorrow morning, but since he isn't here today, I have to wonder if he didn't decide to just go himself. Need to track down his phone number/email and find out.
