getting ready to go to my family reunion.

i have reppared a couple family tree charts and transcribed my grandfather's notes on the family genealogy. Hope folks like it. It all needs updates and a lot of information he didn't bother to include (such as birthdates, deaths, marriages and the like).

I am sittting here in a kimono-style robe - the only sexy piece of clothing I own. I wear it because it is of a super light material and feels really good onmy skin after I take a shower, after a day of being hot and incredibly filthy.

I should be in bed asleep,but nooo,I can't sleep because my nerves are shot.I think Amee really is pregnant and that just pisses me off.In this day and age no woman should get pregnant unless she wants to.She got pregnant with Jonathon on purpose to trap a guy into marrying her,has had an abortion,and now she is pregnant again?I have not spoke to her since Sun. and she didn't like what I had to say.She was talking about going to court about custody arrangements,she did not like it when I said I wouldn't lie under oath for her.I said she is an unfit mother,and if she has another baby,I'm not going to even look at it. She sure wasn't there for Jonathon,when she took off at Christmas,she just crushed the little guy.Some people just shouldn't breed,I wish I hadn't. Anyone ever see the movie Bad Seed? Reunion was a blast, made me realize how lucky I am for having such a great and supportive family who in general, gets along. Except for a few people.

So what if I've been alone in my
apartment for 10 hours? Both my
roommate and my girlfriend have
been in their architecture studio all
night, basically. I wish I hadn't
taken that nap so that I could just
go to sleep.
In other news, it seems that my
girlfriends roommate basically
thinks I'm taking her away from
them. (She lives with 3 guys.) It
just pisses me off; I don't make
her choices for her.
So what am I doing? I'm basically
posting my personal life for the
benefit and perhaps mutual
understanding of the masses.

writing a report on privacy policies for a meeting tomorrow morning.

my garden is flourishing this year, the green eggplants are getting big already, the lettuce finally sprouted, the tomatoes are on their way, and the mango tree is dripping. if it were not for Lonny, my new personal trainer, i probably would have gained 15 lbs on mangoes alone.

tonight i'm inheriting two humongous sony stereo speakers, an antique desk, and a bottle of amaretto from a friend who's moving to boulder tomorrow.

sometimes it feels good to be a mindless teenager. but most of the time it's hell in a handbasket. i better get offline and finish my thank-you's or my parents will take away my car and i won't be able to work. heck, how much did that car cost, $200? i've been paying for gas ever since school ended anyway. stupid.

i slept in the basement last night. it was 90 in my bedroom and i can't sleep unless condtions are good (as in hot times aren't good). i have a hard time sleeping in the same room as anyone else, when the bed's too hard, when the bed's too soft, when it's too light, when it's too dark, etc etc etc. last summer when i went to the uk, i woke up at 4 am. the seats were really comfortable, but we were flying over iceland and it was light on one side of the plane and dark on the other. then sunset wasn't until 11 pm. i stayed awake about 40 hours.

i wonder if imsomnia is hereditary.

I am frustated because I can,t read the boards now,I could when I first got up,I don,t get it.

weird things are afoot here - at work, the background colors had changed to white on teh message boards, but they are still black at home, while all the white letters, except in the threads themselves, are all black. all the yellow letters are black too, which makes navagation a real hurdle.
