ain't she morbid?
the development of the word ain't:
this word appears in america, the great melting pot of cultures and languages. "ai" is french for the first person singular conjugation of "have" or "avoir", while n't is...(you don't need her to explain this, do you?)
therefore, in plain english, ain't is another forn of haven't!

But I have gotten rid of an impressive number of boxes and a satisfying quantity of dust. Somehow this fills me with more satisfaction than staying at a Motel 6 somewhere and attempting to have an adventure would probably do. Nevertheless, I'm bound to feel deprived no matter what. Unless..
Feeling I've advanced in my self-actualization due to the fact that I was finally able to throw away my mother's lipstick. She really only had one; it was in a nice gold-toned metal case, and the color was Love That Red. Well, i haven't completely thrown it away since I'm telling you about it but... will settle for progress on the physical plane.

The newscasts were very breif. Alright. The first one was much better, focusing on what we were doing and tring to learn, while the other just focused on what artifacts we were finding.
Have to see what the print media does with this.

had a weird dream about archaeology and marriage - finding a coffee table set out with dinner ware, underneath a dirt floor. At the same time, having a woman (one of those people who exist only in dreams, that you've never seen in real life), but who was somehow a friend of Mavis, after me for the holy bond. I was not very reluctant in the dream, but i remember feeling like "Is this a dream?"
Of course, it was.

Pez is:
- remembring a recurring dream she used to have.
she used to dream about this room in her grandparents' house. the entrances were always changing, so the only permanent access to this room (which was in the attic) was a ladder from the basement. the room would be full of light, but a little unnerving. she loved that room. but the ladder was hidden in a dark closet behind the furnace that would scare her (pez isn't very fond of furnaces and dark closets...they tend to make her imagination run a little more wildly than she'd like).
another time she dreamt about hands coming out of the ground while she was carring around cabbage patch dolls who helped her to run a nursery (plants, not people) there. go figure.
