semillama is:
- wondering at this
insane day.
I had to be firm with
three out of four crew
chiefs, hang around
after work (yes I
worked today) for the
Nationsrent guy to
show up so I could
lead him tot he site to
fix teh oil leak on teh
new trackhoe, then I
got a flat on the way
back up to Columbus.
Then I left my cell
phone inteh truck,
which is probably a
mixed blessing, as I
am not going back to
get it soI won't be
bothered by phone
calls, but then my
phone willprobably die
on me tomorrow.
Plus, I got a piece of
mail from the American
Marketers Associaton
with a huge flag on it
and something about
being patriotic and
helping the country by
buying things and that
really ticked me off. So
I went to the local BBQ
and ate some meat
and drank 3 Harps.
Now I am going to
displace this cat on teh
lap and get a german
beer from the fridge
(please god let there
be some beer int he
fridge). Then I will pee
and enter the boards.
God damn am I glad
this week is over.

no sem
it says Zero Zero are playing and (this is why i'm doubly excited) the Forty Fives. they are another atlanta band i've raved about here. We've befriended them everytime they come to town in the past and now they are in the big time!!! But it does mention "others" so maybe they will play with them.
I like Low. Its hard for me to imagine a side project of the folks in Low playing with Man or Astroman? though.

- Many's the time I've been mistaken,

Yes, and I've often felt forsaken,
and certainly misused.
Ah, but I'm all right, I'm all right.
I'm just weary to my bones.
Still you don't expect to be bright and bon vivant,
so far away from home,
so far away from home.
And I don't know a soul who's not been battered.
I don't have a friend who feels at ease.
I don't know a dream that's not been shattered,
or driven to its knees.
Ah, but it's all right. It's all right.
For we've lived so well so long.
Still, when I think of the road we're travelin' on,
I wonder what's gone wrong.
I can't help but wonder what's gone wrong.
And I dreamed I was dying.
I dreamed that my soul rose unexpectedly,
and looking back down at me, smiled reassuringly.
And I dreamed I was flying,
and high up above my eyes could clearly see
the Statue of Liberty sailing away to sea.
And I dreamed I was flying.
And we come on the ship they call the Mayflower.
We come on the ship that sailed the moon.
We come in the age's most uncertain hours,
and sing an American tune.
Oh, and it's all right, it's all right,
it's all right.
You can't be forever blessed.
Still tomorrow's gonna be another working day
and I'm tryin' to get some rest;
that's all - I'm trying to get some rest.
