He will be 22 next month but he's still 12 in his head.Congrats NZAngel,you must post a picture of your baby.I just read the post by that Christopher on the message board it was pretty funny and it reminded me of something.When I was on vacation in C.R. this summer in San Jose there was this intersectiom that had a McDonalds on one side and a Kentucky Fried Chicken on the other,the MacDonalds had a bench with Ronald sitting on it and the KFC had a bench with the Colonel on it.I have seen a funny picture of a gal going down on Ronald,and I wanted to do that with Ronald and the Colonel and post the pictures but I was waiting till we were ready to leave and that would have been when we drove back to San Jose from Tamarindo,when we got into San Jose,we were lost and drove around for 2 hours and 15 min.before we finally stopped a taxi driver who knew where our hotel was and we followed him,never did get the pictures,but there is always a next time.

When I was a ballerina, I do a show piece from Swan Lake with three other girls. We called ourselves the Beatles. I was John, even though he was shot by then.

"George" had breast cancer earlier this year. I called her yesterday and we laughed about how many other groups of four were remembering each other that day.

I miss being part of something.

this is a beautiful place. even without its front teeth, in this ridiculous fog and humidity, manhattan gleams and is beautiful. it makes me smile. should there not have been riots, looting, firebombing? there was not.

just drove from nyc to florida and back again. flags and ribbons and banners as far as the eye could see, on interstate overpasses, at laundromats in maryland, at motels in north carolina, at state parks toilets in georgia, on just about every house and front yard in the neighborhood where i grew up, on the 1610 AM traffic alerts, on my gas station recipts, everywhere you look you see American flags and "God Bless America."

as corny and redneck as the media might have made that phrase sound 3 months ago, i appreciate and respect it now as much as the first time i heard Kate Smith sing it on the shortwave at my dad's place 20 years ago.
