i'd like to know why heather's eyes are blue. my eyes are brown, but both of my "parents" have blue eyes. sometimes this causes speculation.

my brother and sister-in-law have brown eyes. my niece and nephew both have blue.

my only sibling, my younger sister, has blue eyes. but i wasn't suggesting that it's genetically impossible for blue-eyed parents to have a brown-eyed child. (though every so often i meet someone who thinks it is.) it's just that my origins have always been open to conjecture and it's something my sister and i tease my mother about sometimes.
