This sign was in the upstairs dining room at Le Monde on West 48th Street near Rockefeller Center. The upstairs dining area is generally empty after the lunch time rush hours. It is hard to tell at whom this sign is directed, but it appears to contain a general announcement, a message to patrons who might try to hog a table with only a "baverage," and a message to employees of the place advising them to "Never allow seating" with outside food. I thought about adding this picture to my picture essay of Typos, Engrish, and Public Grammar Gaffes, but really I took a picture of this sign out of appreciation of its urgency.
